WeLcomIng... the NeW famiLy member -- Joey

It's been almost 3months since I last blog... bz bz all the while as dearie is trying to set up and establish his new company. Getting work done in every possible way / datelines is hard work... Every now and then I also had to do 'part-time' -- as a bangalah (sweep floor), secretary (type quotes & invoices), etc... but at least I get to spend some more time with him.

Nevertheless, on Sunday, we just got ourselves a puppy from Wen Han's colleague. Coz they have moved and the pup was not allowed to follow. Poor little fellow was going to be thrown out on the streets if no one is going to adopt her.

It's a female Jack chi (jack russell cross chihuahua) who is 1yr old now...
Very hyper active, doesn't like to bathe and is also able to 'burn midnight oil' with us...

Will try to post a few photo of her later on.

Go Kart - 2, Me - 0

Haizzz... Went back to Malaysia with Koibitoh, end up injuring my hand again when playin Go Kart...

1st day of CNY 18 Feb... crashed my car into the big umbrella and tore off the skin on my right palm...

till now, still recovering....



the crack near the beginin of the wound... was formed just on Sat, 24 Feb. Happily thinking its healed, i pressed my whole palm onto the floor to stand up... then i felt a spilt and saw it bleeding :<

taste of hydroxide = PAIN... TORTURE !!

Batam Trip 1 - 3 Feb 2007 with parEntS & GranDpArentS laH... PART 1

It was quite a smooth trip to Batam... except for the 'punishment' we had at the gantry.

They have computerised the check-in from Singapore and we were told to DIY our own departures and even had to do fingerprinting.
After which when we want to enter the departure hall - we had to 'stand in a line' by the aisle because we were 3 mins earlier !! Yes, we had gone thru the security check without knowing it wasn't time to check-in thus with the boarding card (looks & use like ezlink) on hand the gantry will not allow us to pass through.

we were stuck at this little corner between the gantry and the guards while everyone walked by and scan their boarding pass... :< so paiseh...

Anyway, reached Batam in exactly 45mins but the terminal had no more dock space for us... so we were stranded by the side of the terminal for at least another 15-20 mins... -_-"

Here's the inside view... got long balcony, 2 rooms (each with it's own toilet) and air-condition... which was rather not neccessary...

goosh... pool is dried up, fishing pool has no fish... :< = no ENTERTAINMENT !!

New Year, New Beginning, New Stuff, New Car !!!

A Slow and Steady new start for 2007....

As some might say, I slept thru the Year 2006, and began 2007 in a refreshing mind...

Hmm, New Year was going into a good start, with me having new roles to 'play' at work. Having my performance bonus... Spending 300++ for new year clothes (which originally costed 600++) for my family, and not forgetting my koibitoh :>

Need to save up more money also, as I am taking my driving practical lessons.
Yup, you SAW that right... I passed my basic theory on 12 Dec 06 and had since applied for my PDL to kick start my driving lesson... At first I thought it was only after you have passed your Advanced theory tat you den can only take up practical lessons... But on second thought, I remembered studying in the basic theory tat after you passed, you CAN applying for PDL to drive. Only catch is that you NEED to PASS final theory before you take practical tests.

So without further consideration, I applied for my PDL on the very same day and it would also mean it's gonna expire sonner... yup, PDL is renewable every 6mths. But it would also mean if I pass my final on 31 Jan 07, all i need to do is brush up on my practical and I could possibly drive on the roads by JUNE 07 !!!

That is if I buck up on my practicals... instructor reminded me tat I'm still careless, remember to change gear, forget to check rear mirror. Turning smooth, forget to off signal... sigh...

As I kept talking about Stepwagon... heeheehee... It's finally here... We took it for a spin in JB but coz new car, can't drive more than 80km/h. Thus to and fro took us 4hrs !!



When we back at Spore, stopped at petrol kiosk to buy some stuff... Took a snapshot, heehee... Koibitoh said I so vain... :P will take another shot when we change to leather seats... (as promised by the car agent)

Ekek... din expect a little surprise in the office... my covering supervisor actually got me a presie!! My 1st for this year...





Now waiting for my koibitoh to bring me out for dinner... :>
